feathers, feathers, everywhere!


Harry and Putty are in the middle of their molt and the feathers are flying. Penguin feathers are very small and dense, over 70 per square inch. Come out and see them before all their new feathers come in.

  1. This is a great exhibit. Penguins are my favorite animal. I think it is a terrific idea to have a temporary penguin exhibit if you can not have a permanant one.
