At one month old, the female Sumatran tiger cub is starting to be more active around her den. You can see in the videos below that she has started chewing on things, entertaining herself by finding places to play and of course, being groomed by Mom.

ReplyDeleteWhen do you think the tiger cub will be out for the public to see? Will there be any opportunities for us to interact with her?
ReplyDeleteThe tiger cub will be out on exhibit with mom in mid to late June. Mom is raising her and the public will not be able to interact with the cub. You will be able to get up close at the exhibit via the large glass veiwing window. The tigers spend time right up against it and the last time we had cubs, it was a favorite hang out spot.
