Flock of Ducklings

Many of the waterfowl that live on the lake have had chicks this year! There are two Ruddy Ducks and two Northern Pintails that will be returned to the lake when they are bigger.

Fulvous Whistling Ducks started hatching a couple of months ago and there are 16 ducklings ranging from 2 weeks to 8 weeks old, with a few more ready to hatch. Some of them will become Animal Ambassadors with our education department and the rest will move to other Zoos.
